WHO DESIGNS YOUR PRODUCTS?

Yours truly, me, M.-L. Stranger. All collage art is created by me. If you want to use my art in any shape or form, read the Use of Art statement first.

DO YOU PRINT THE DESIGNS YOURSELF?

No. We employ a printing company that gets to work once you place your order.

DO YOU DO COMMISSION WORK?

The answer is no. I get many requests, especially from musicians, to design their cover art. However, I do not take on commissions at this time.

WHY DO YOU INDICATE THE SOURCE OF THE BLANK PRODUCTS ON YOUR WEBSITE?

I believe in transparency. The printing company I use sources the blank products that I carefully picked for my art to get printed on worldwide. While I wouldn’t need to be this transparent- many companies choose not to, I see you as a fellow Oddball. Hence, no secrets before you step aboard and lift off to the Stranger planet with me.

DO YOU CARE ABOUT SUSTAINABILITY AND SOCIALLY ETHICAL PRODUCTION?

I do. That’s why we made sure that we pay attention to whom we source our blank products from and that they, too, care about sustainability and socially ethical production. For instance, our apparel suppliers are both W.A.R.P (Worldwide Responsible Accredited Production) certified. There’s a lot of thought that went into sourcing products (considerations such as supply, shipping times, quality, pricing, etc., all played a role in this balancing act) so that we can offer you the best quality and experience for your money.

HOW ACCURATE ARE THE COLORS ON THE PRODUCTS THAT I SEE ON MY SCREEN?

While I strive to accurately depict the colors of my products, variations may occur due to differences in screen displays and individual screen settings. As such, the actual color of the product may vary from the color seen on your device. I appreciate your understanding in this matter.

HOW DO YOU CALCULATE SHIPPING?

We base our shipping on flat rates. The first item has a set price, and each additional item costs a low extra fee. Each shipping region has a different price for the first item. Still, each additional item will be $2.20, independent of the country we ship to.

For instance, the shipping rate for the United States is $8.00 for the first item and $2.00 for each additional item.

This shipping strategy allows us, a small business, to not charge a higher price for individual items. Free shipping is never free. In fact, you are usually overpaying for the items when someone offers you free shipping. The reason is that each item sold separately needs to cover the shipping cost. Thus, our T-shirts costs $29 to offer free shipping, we would have to charge you $37 for each T-shirt to ensure that the shipping costs are covered if you only buy one T-shirt. When you buy 2 T-shirts, you're effectively paying $74 instead of $68 with our pricing strategy. Since we do not want to overcharge you, we removed the smoke screen that free shipping usually is.

Instead of Human in Design, we may use the short descriptor HiD. HiD is our abbreviation for ‘Human in Design’.
