Marilyn Monroe - Riddled With Theories From the Unknown

Hello there, Strangers, also known as art aficionados and seekers of the truth!

I’m sure you’d agree that Marilyn Monroe, an emblem of beauty, sensuality, and vulnerability, captured the hearts of millions. But did you know that underneath that glamorous facade was a woman surrounded by intrigue and countless enigmas? Follow me into the most talked-about, what people call conspiracy theories that have kept her name alive in often whispered conversations.

0. The Official Theory

Marilyn Monroe's official cause of death was ruled as probable suicide due to an overdose of barbiturates. She was found dead in her home in Brentwood, Los Angeles, on August 5, 1962. An empty bottle of sleeping pills was found next to her bed.

1. The Kennedys:

One of the most well-known conspiracy theories surrounding Marilyn Monroe's death is her alleged relationships with both John F. Kennedy and Robert F. Kennedy. Some believe she had affairs with one or both of the brothers. Given the Kennedy family’s status in society and politics, the theory that Marilyn may have possessed compromising information about them or political secrets that made her a liability doesn’t seem far-fetched, which makes it such a prevalent theory to this day.

2. Alien Encounters:

This one doesn’t come up in your friendly neighborhood chit-chat unless you reside in the Strangervese. The 1960s was an era where UFO sightings were at an all-time high. Given Marilyn's status and her circle of influential friends, some believe she was privy to classified information about extraterrestrial life. The theory suggests that she was silenced to prevent her from disclosing top-secret alien knowledge. As someone deeply fascinated by the cosmos, I find this theory particularly enthralling; that’s why you can read more about this theory on my blog soon. Let’s say the Alien theories involve Roswell—nothing to see here.

3. The Hollywood Elite:

Hollywood in the 1950s and 60s was not just about glamour; it had dark corners. The studio system was powerful, and many stars were under tight control. There are theories suggesting that Marilyn, a major star with her fair share of disputes with the studios, mainly 20th Century Fox, had access to the industry's darkest secrets. One of these now well-documented secrets was that the movie industry had strong ties to the mafia at the time. Her sudden death, to some, seems too convenient, leading to speculations that it was orchestrated.

Personal Diaries: Our lovely Miss Monroe reportedly kept detailed diaries that contained sensitive and private information about her own life and the lives of all the other high-profile individuals she crossed paths with during her time. If these diaries contained damaging information about influential people in Hollywood or politics, they could have made her a target for all of the above.

Drawing humble parallels to my art, Marilyn's life was a tapestry of interwoven stories and secrets. My collages mirror this complexity, brimming with symbols from aliens to alchemical signs and anything in between. Each element, each layer in my work, holds a narrative waiting to be deciphered.

When you immerse yourself in my art, consider the parallels between the symbols I use and the mysteries surrounding figures like Marilyn. Art, like life, thrives in its multifaceted interpretations.
